Today is Mom's birthday. I just called my brother D to make sure he called her to wish her a happy birthday, and he had. I'm so proud. There were tentative plans today, but the weather is not cooperating, so we put them off.
Saw an excellent movie with the kids yesterday, Serenity. We all really liked it, so it's highly recommended. Other than that, the weekend's pretty slow. I'm off for the whole weekend, which is nice. I'm feeling much less stressed in general, but I still have to update my resume. Regardless of whether or not I look for a new job in the next little while, it's a task that I really do have to complete.
One nice thing about me today: I was the first to call mom and wish her a happy birthday. It's the simple things, isn't it?
Update: The resume update is done, and it was practically painless. I can't believe I put off the update for 18 months. Bad Connie!
