WW Wednesday

It's that time of the week again. Weight Watchers Wednesday!

This week, I lost 1.6 pounds for a total weight loss so far of 19.2 pounds. Annoying woman (the prayer) finally started losing weight again. If anything, she's even more obnoxious when she's happy. Losing quick woman (of whom I was briefly jealous) also lost again, but she's starting to slow down.

Our lesson this week was storyboarding, or as I like to call it, "baby steps." Somewhere in the back of my mind, Bill Murray's yelling, "what about Bob?" but it's still baby steps. I have a paper on which I'm supposed to come up with a goal (medium term ~ within the next couple of months) and then the baby steps I'm going to take to achieve it. I'll have to do some thinking on that. I try to break up everything into small goals already (I'm always just trying to lose 5 pounds, and every time I hit a 5-pound loss and get my little gold star then I'm on to the next 5 pounds; I hope to 5-pound my way back to, not skinny, but healthy). A goal of 2 months duration will take some actual effort on my part, which I don't feel like putting in right now. I'm still sick, so I have an excuse.

In other news, I received a package from my employer outlining the changes that are coming soon. So, I have to make a decision. Should I stay or should I go? Bill Murray's gone, but now The Clash is with me. Is it really true that it's better to face 10 demons you know than one you don't? Where's Buffy the Vampire Slayer when I need to face demons? Nothing has to be decided immediately, but there is a definite timetable for the decision.

One nice thing about me today: While I'm indecisive, I have a plethora of pop culture references from which I can draw in times of need.
