I started coughing on Monday night. I was all congested yesterday and couldn't hear well, so I had to take the day off. You just can't be a good medical transcriptionist if you can't hear. Kinda goes with the territory. Today the ears are better, but the cough is killing me. I can't draw in a good deep breath without hacking away, and every time I do cough, my chest burns.
I hate being sick, and if I see that fucking Cold-Eez commercial where the woman says that it's in the mommy handbook that moms can't be sick, I'm going to hit something. Not anything expesnive or irreplaceable or anything like that. I'll probably just throw a pillow. Stupid commercial.
Stupid cough.

Dr. Mommy Annie's remedy for congested coughs like yours:
Vaporizer ($14.00 at RiteAid)
Add water
+ a spoonful of Vicks Vaporizer liquid.
Run all night while sleeping.
Loosens up the mucus and allows your to breathe better.
