I took a little trip to the eastern half of Washington last weekend, and here's my blog in picture form.
First up. Moses Lake conveniently located in Moses Lake, Washington. It was a little misty early in the day.

This is my traveling partner, Mom. We're at the hotel in Moses Lake.

This is the reason I went to Moses Lake. My darling daughter, Amanda. She's currently at the Job Corps Center in ML.

This is part of the Gingko Petrified Forest State Park near Vantage, WA. We didn't stop at the park, but there's a pull out spot across the river (that's the Columbia) on I-90 to take pictures.

More of the Columbia River. The road to the left of the picture is I-90 going into Vantage, WA.

The Columbia River Gorge is really scenic. I took many photos.

Yep, still the Gorge.

And now for something completely different. Cicely, Alaska! OK, it's actually Roslyn, WA which stood in for Alaska for the 1990s television series Northern Exposure. If you watched the show, you probably recognize this.

That's all for now!

Oh yeah.. Love it!
I have yet to stop at Roslyn... Loved that show. I miss it.
Oh gosh, no.. no monetary reward needed to be offered. It might have been insulting to offer... just your honest appreciation probably did it. Very lucky.
I just love relaxing, chatting and just sitting back in a hotel. No dishes or laundry to think about.
I've never seen Moses Lake. Note to self: must ask husband to take me there.
I always thought VW Beetles had the reputation of 0 to 60mph in 2 days? I'm glad they improved on it. I love them too! Now if they had a bigger trunk and four doors, I can buy one for myself and the kids.
So you didn't take the hike down on Snoqualmie Falls to the bottom pool? You're smart. It's hella exhausting to hike back up.
OMG, your poor car.
