What's on my little mind this morning . . . .
Things That Bug Me
1. That I didn't have my windshield taken care of sooner, and now I have to replace it today, and that's $100 for the glass deductible that I'd rather not spend right now.
2. People who can't be bothered with spelling and grammar. (I know I've said this before, but it's a constant irritant).
3. Running out of all 3 kinds of milk we keep here (skim, 2%, and soy) all at the same time.
4. The fact that for me to have laminate floors throughout my new house would have been possible, but prohibitively expensive for me (lots of $$ for that particular upgrade).
Things That Please Me
1. That my windshield is being replaced for only $100 and they're coming to me to do it. Plus the phone call to the insurance company was pretty painless.
2. I finished my knitting project last night (a very cool lacy shrug for Ms. Thang) and it came out really well.
3. Love the One You're With, Emily Giffin's newest book. I got it from the library a couple of days ago, and I love it so far.
4. My Boys on TBS. Watched it last night with Ms. Thang, and it was just hilarious.
5. The counter and vinyl flooring that I picked for the house yesterday. They're going to look great. I'm not nuts about the carpet, but I'm not a fan of wall-to-wall carpet in general.
6. My pretty new finger and toenail color, Mocha Blast.

So where's the photo? New colour of toes and we don't get to see?!
Forget toes Ani - did you SEE the color of those tiles and floors! I'm drooling with envy. Love 'em! When are we all invited for a house break-in *cough* I mean house-warming party? I don't care for carpets either at least until Winter time..HAHAHAHA... but if you get sick from too much drinking, it IS easier to clean up on wooden floors.
I have wood floors in kitchen/nook/family room and lemme tell ya they create dust bunnies daily. They are nice because you can see spots. I still need a floor cleaner for hardwood floor. Somelike like a vacuum but just for hardwood. Dust mopping with my allergies sucks.
Mom's got the wood-look laminate throughout her house, and she has a little vaccum thing that she uses rather than dust mopping. I love the way her floors look and feel.
