Picture time!

The painting has been completed, and here are a few pictures. They might be a little blurry, but the colors still show.

We're bold color kind of people, just so you know. First up is the master bedroom.

This is the living room; the yellow is the most neutral color in the house. I wanted it to look sunny and warm year round; so since it's western Washington, I had to import the sun.

This is in the hallway. The way it's set up, it's like second entry/foyer after you come in through the garage. The blue is a closet, and the color will only be seen when the doors are open. The orange and red is Ms. Thang's room.

This is the book closet. I won't be putting doors on this one (I will be touching up the paint a bit), and it'll be 3 sides of floor to ceiling bookshelves. I'm in love with this closet.

This is the dining room/living room corner.

This is looking into the dining room from further back. The darker island is the kitchen boundary.

This is the kitchen corner (cabinets coming soon) with all the lovely colors.

That Boy (and friend) in the hallway where you can see several of the colors.

That's all I have for today.

I LOVE the colors! It's so open and fresh. I hope it stays that way when you move in. The book closet is a great idea.

Send this to Unclutterer.com when you get done. :o)

Thank you! I'm very excited about the colors. I've been in rentals with white or off-white semigloss paint for more than a decade now. There are no white walls of any sort in the new house; that was my mission.

Can you talk to DH and let him know colour is a GOOD thing!?!

Love, love, love the green! And the inside colour of the bookcloset.

What colour is The Boy's room? Bathrooms??

The baby blue paint next to the book closet is the hallway bathroom. In the last picture, above the head of That Boy's friend is the color of his room (it's like a green screen in there). My bathroom is a pale yellowish-green.

Don't know what to tell you about men who are afraid of color. I never got to have fun colors like this when I was married; he liked neutrals (boring).

Well, partly our house has so much wood in it that it needs boring colours to play off of. I get that (sort of).

And not every room in our house is rental white! LOL
