Field Trip!

Well, shit. I had a post about my wonderful yarn shopping trip to Lakewood, but I hit the back button on the browser in error and lost it. There's no way I can recreate, but I can share the pictures and links to the shops.

Yorkshire Yarns http://www.yorkshireyarns.com/ Three rooms (that I saw) of lovely yarn, needles, pattern books, and various and sundry items that go with knitting and crochet. The first 2 yarns pictured were purchased there. BTW, all the yarn today was sock yarn. Sock yarn I'm OK with keeping as a stash so that I know I'm able to grab some yarn and make a project without having to go out. Other yarn I'm only buying with a specific project in mind. Trying to keep it under a little bit of control.

Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Flamingo Stripe. Can't wait to see how this knits up.

ZwergerGarn Opal Neon in a colorway that I can't identify because the label is in German. Saw this knitted up in the store and liked it very much.
From Shibori Dragon http://www.shiboridragonknits.com/ What a fabulous store. Not just knitting, but quilting, embroidery, and lots of other stuff. I wanted to pet and stroke everything, but I did hold myself back for the most part. I did stroke a lot of yarn and I bought the one below.

South West Trading Company TOFUtsies, another colorway that is nameless, but I like the green very much.

Now off to knit. Not with this yarn but with my Knitpicks sock yarn that showed up in the mail on Friday.
