Lovely, lovely sock yarn from Yarn Garden. A shorter skein, so these will probably end up just covering my ankes.

The yarn I can't stop petting. Alpaca Sox from Yarn Garden. More yardage on this skein, so they'll be longer, or maybe someone else will get a pair after I get mine. Who knows?

I didn't take pictures of the books, but I got Fool in hardcover by Christopher Moore and a trade size copy of Burning Bright by Tracy Chevalier (she wrote Girl with a Pearl Earring).
