Thursday Kitteh Blog (06/04/2009)

Yep, it's an old picture today. With it being as hot and uncomfortable as it's been for the past few days, the girls are staying under things in the darkest, coolest places they can find and not cooperating with picture taking. Plus this picture reminds me that, even though I'm not a fan of this current heat, I really, really, really hated the snow this last winter.

This picture was taken very early in the winter, I believe in December with the first round of snow. They were still babies back then, so tiny.



This current heat wave is supposed to break this evening and then be back into temperatures that I like by tomorrow. In case you're wondering, I like mid to upper 70s and sometimes into the low 80s. Much above about 82, though, and I'm less happy. Apparently my happy temperature is stuck on my high school graduation year ('82 Rules, Baby!).

Anyway, once the temperature cools back down a bit, I'll be able to start working on the sweater again. Haven't touched it since Saturday morning, but when it's hot like this, the last thing I want is a large pile of wool in my lap. Even working on my current sock feels like too much in this weather.
