Well, the knitting's done and the blocking is done. I still haven't found the right button/clasp/closure device for the top of the sweater, but that's all that there is left to do.
I really do like the finished project in most ways. It's hard to photograph because of the dark brown color, but it does look really good, and if I do say so myself, I did a good job on the knitting. The only actual problem is the fit. It's just a little bit tighter than I would like it to be, and that's doing to hinder my wearing of it for a while. Or, like the Mr. Greenjeans sweater that didn't really fit me or Amanda in any sort of flattering way, this sweater may end up with a new home. Time will tell.
