No pictures today, as I can't find the camera cord right now. I'm sure I'll put my hands right on it in the morning, but at this time, it's not where I put it last.
Anyway, things are changing some for our girls, and they're adapting relatively well. Our temporary roommate, Katie, will be moving out next week, starting school up north of Seattle and living up there.
Amanda is currently working on a project that has her only home on the weekends, well Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. Since the kittehs normally sleep in her room with her, and I didn't want to them to tear through my door, I've been leaving it open a little and letting them sleep with me. We tried that once when they were babies, but if I moved they'd attack my feet, and I don't like that, so I showed them the door.
The first night, Meredith sat on the pillow near my head and anytime my hand came out from under the covers, she'd put her paw on it. Like she was holding my hand; it was so sweet. That morning, when I woke up 'Stache was asleep in the space behind my knees. The last 2 nights, Meredith hasn't spent the whole night with me (I suspect it's enough for her just to know that she has the option), but 'Stache sleeps on the pillow next to my head. Unfortunately, that's way too early an hour for me to find the camera and point it at her to show you the preponderance of cuteness; you'll just have to take my word for it.
An attempt may very well be made tomorrow to edit this post for photographic content, but for now I'm headed for the bed to relive my wonderful sushi dinner at the Blue C Sushi at Southcenter (Katie's BD dinner).

Soon you will know the joys of two feline alarm clocks, as I do. FYI - cats know how to give a wet willy...
When we first moved out we tried keeping Isis out because my DBF couldn't sleep with the pouncing and he moves a lot, she tore up the apartment pretty good, we literally had to pull towels under the little gap in the door so she couldn't do it. Then we got her Bandit and she seemed more chilled or chased him instead, now she snuggles pretty calmly most nights though she will get frisky and pounce my foot. I think it is adorable when she snuggles DBF to wake him in the morning.
