Knitting Goals for 2011

Since I've decided not to do resolutions for 2011 and instead make a list of knitting goals, here's the list. 

• Finish the Cosima sweater (back and both sleeves done, one side of front started).
• Mittens for Amanda (yarn ordered but not shipped yet). 
• End Paper mitts for me (yarn and pattern picked and ready).
• Six pairs of plain vanilla pattern socks (self-patterning yarn of which I have plenty).
• Six pairs of more interesting socks (need to pick out a couple more patterns and organize into gallon storage bags).
• Four hats for the Hats for Sailors project. 
• Swatches, 366 of them from the Stitch Pattern a day perpetual calendar I got for my birthday (thanks, Mom!).
• Weekly knitting blog on Friday. Because a lot of the swatches will need to be blocked to represent well on camera, I won't be doing a daily blog for those. 

Ambitious, yes, but doable, especially since I didn't add any new sweaters to the list. I have between now and Friday night (3 days counting today) to organize the sock projects. Good thing most TV is in reruns this week; I'll be able to use my post work hours to organize and prep.
