Well, holy crap, lookie there. I (completely unintentionally and without trying) seem to be making socks with a striping pattern that matches. Figures that I worked the left sock (these socks are like shoes in that each fits a specific foot) from the inside of that skein and the right sock is being worked from the outside of its skein. That is nothing but pure dumb luck. They don't start at exactly the same spot in the color repeat, but pretty damn close. And BTW, I literally only noticed that the stripes were matching at all when I slipped on the socks to take this picture. You'd think I would have noticed while I was knitting, but no. I'm oblivious.
The goal for this week is to finish sock #2 and pick out pattern and yarn for my next sock adventure. I'm having some sweater thoughts lately, but nothing has solidified yet, and I've completed the initial sweater portion of my knitting goals for the year, so I'm going to focus on socks for a while. And maybe a hat.
All for tonight. Time for a glass of wine, I think.

They look great! If you're interested, you can have a look through my sock books for a pattern.
