Well, crap, only 40 minutes to go before it's not Friday anymore on the west coast, and I just now remembered knitting blog.
So, the sweater pieces are blocked; everything's dry and unpinned from the mats and that's the point at which I'm stalled. Have I mentioned that finishing work, although I do a decent job of it, is not my favorite part of this process? Since Monday, I've looked at the pieces every day and thought to myself, unpick the cast off edges and do 3-needle bind off for the shoulders or just sew them together? Every day, I find myself unable to decide, and so I pick up a book and read instead. I'm on book #8 for the week.
I have to work tomorrow, but I'm off most of Sunday and all day Monday. Surely I can manage to get some knitting done then. Fingers crossed, anyway.
