Finally (seriously it took more than a month to get this far), the first of the Lingerie socks is done. That's right, I have to get to make another one! I made the pictures big in the blog this time because these socks deserve to be seen and not squinted at.
The front view.
And from the side so you can see the back. This is a seriously fussy and complicated pattern. But the end result is gorgeous.
I'm still rewatching all the episodes of Grey's Anatomy that I own on DVD (which is seasons 1-7). I'm most of the way through Season 6, so that won't keep me busy all the way until the Olympics, but it'll come pretty close. (Yes, I think the guys at the USOC are jerks, but you know what, I've loved the Olympics longer than I've been knitting, and I will continue to love and watch them).

I hear you on the Olympics thing. I'm planning on sitting on my butt in front of the tv every night and watching!
In fact, I'm in training now by trying to watch all the USO Trials! LOL.
The sock looks fantastic! So pretty, and I love the color, too.
Beautiful job - the 2nd one will go faster.
