And a picture of my current knitting project. Yep, another sock (first one of a pair). I'm on a mission to knit at least 6 pairs of socks before I allow myself to buy any new sock yarn.
This is Zoe sock yarn by Shalimar in the Sweet Pea colorway. According to the dyer, it's not supposed to pool. We'll see how that holds up with my particular gauge for this project. The pattern is called Anastasia and it's a free pattern that I downloaded from Ravelry (also available on pepperknit.com/patterns). It's still not easy to see, but there are spiraling eyelets on the top of the foot of this sock which will then continue up the leg. This is the right sock; on the left sock, the spirals will go in the opposite direction, which is why I'm not using this pattern to try to knit 2 at the same time. Just too much opportunity to read the wrong chart and have to frog the thing. I started this Monday night, and then it got really hot on Tuesday and Wednesday, so I haven't worked on it much since. I did 3 rounds this morning because work is slow, and I might get a couple of more in today, but right now knitting is very weather dependent.

Oh my gosh, they's all growded up!
I checked out that sock pattern, and I think those will turn out very nicely! BTW, do you have time to nurse me through my Top Gear pattern on Saturday?
