Well, way back
here, I experimented with Kool-Aid for dying yarn. And being me, I documented the process. And now, about 9 months later, much like a baby, I have completed a knitting project with that yarn.
Here are the socks! The pattern is called
Wanida and it's by the semi-diabolical
Cookie A. Some of her charts are mind-boggling, but as you can see, getting through the charts and having that a-ha! moment is worth it.

From a different angle.

Those are the lovely Ms. Thang's feet and legs because she's the owner of the socks. Her feet and legs are smaller than mine, and I knitted this pattern as written as far as size went, and they were too tight for me. She's a lucky girl, that Ms. Thang.

I love that pattern. And I can't believe you use Kool-Aid to color the yarn and then cook it in the microwave. LOL! Awesome.
