I decided to knit a sock today, start to finish. The mate to my Candy Rainbow Sock. I have a little bit more than 5 hours until midnight, and about 63 rounds to go. I'm pretty sure I can do it, but I'm going to come back in the morning to edit this entry and add the finished product pictures.
And here they are, the finished sock. Here is the link to my project page on Ravelry where you can see my notes. I do love making socks with self striping yarn.
I ordered yarn (which should arrive either today or Monday), purchased a pattern and purchased a needle (it's not the easiest task in the world to find a 3 mm diameter 16 inch length needle; it's not a common size, but we found one), for a hat pattern. A Fair Isle hat with sheep. I'm not going to lie, it's ambitious, but I feel up for the task.
In the meantime, while I'm waiting for that yarn, I may do some other knitting, but I haven't picked the project yet. I should go do that.
