Friday Knitting Blog (01/13/2012)

I have made some progress on the Pomatomus this week, see?

Just not much in the last couple of days, and I had a couple of glasses of wine with dinner tonight, which apparently leaves me competent to blog but not to knit. Truth be known, I could probably manage some idiot knitting, stockinette in the round or some such, but not a heel flap and turning a heel on a Cookie A sock. While I find that her patterns are rarely as difficult as they look, for me they require absolute sobriety. There was a Cookie A sock whose heel I tried to turn during the last Olympics (yeah, cast your mind back; it was Vancouver almost 2 years ago) when I'd had a drink or two. It's still in time out thinking about what it did. I may bring it back into the rotation for the London games later this year, but it's hard to say.

I'm also still working on figuring out my goals for the year, knitting wise. I'll keep you posted.

It's beautiful! What a great pattern for that yarn.
