This is the Escargot hat that I knit during the Super Bowl on the head of its new owner. I think she just rocks it.

And now for pictures of yarn. I didn't actually buy much at Madrona last weekend, just 2 skeins of Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Lightweight. First up is Sophie.
And her backside. Literally with STR, you always want to flip the skein around and check out the back. There are sometimes little flashes of surprise color that are worth seeing.
Next up is Surf's Up!

I don't have knitting pictures this week; I kind of got grabbed by the throat by the Hunger Games Trilogy and spent a couple of days reading like a fiend rather than knitting. I'm always seeking balance in my hobbies. I have ordered a couple of things that should be here within the next few days, so I will have more to show off next week, including potentially a project.
