One sock down and one to go. In other words, I finished the first of the Hermione's Everyday Socks this week. I'll cast on sock the second within the next couple of days, or possibly tonight. Here's how she looks (yes it's an Instagram picture. I happen to like Instagram).
Not much else knitting wise this week. I'm starting to think about what's coming up after I'm done with these socks, but I'm not quite sure yet. I also have an end of the month deadline to mail my hats for the Hats for Sailors project, and I probably have time (and I certainly have the yarn) to bash out another couple of those before then. Time will tell.
Meanwhile, I'm posting this earlier than normal today, because it's going to be a long work day. I was having some internet stability issues which caused me to lose almost 3 hours of work time on Wednesday; today is the last day of the pay period, and while I've managed to make up 1 hour of time, I'm still looking at a long day, which I should get to.
P.S. I've been reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick (Bladerunner was based on this book) this week. I'm hoping to finish that this weekend. I'm reading it more slowly than I normally would read a book of this length, but I want to give it the proper attention and savor the details. I've never actually watched Bladerunner all the way through (I know, I know), but it's primed and waiting for me to watch and do a compare and contrast when I'm done with the book.
Also, if you know where the kittehs hid my Spring 2012 IK, tell the little varmints to give it back. I've barely looked at it, and suddenly it's gone.

The sock looks great! I really love the way the stitch pattern works with the yarn.
You're welcome to borrow my Spring IK. I was underwhelmed.
IT WASN'T ME! I DIDN'T DO IT!
*cough* I mean...
Darn cats! Give it back!
