I really love that view from the kitchen window; but do you really think it beats what you see outside your current window? mmm.. Let's see - Highway vs. trees. Highway vs. trees. It's tough to decide
For the sake of clarity, I will point out that the gutterflowers are not on my roof, they're on the neighbors. My house won't have gutters for another month.
And I do see the Capitol dome from here, and I can watch the Lakefair fireworks from my balcony. I won't miss the highway noise at all, but I might miss being only 2 minutes from the freeway.
This is the view from my new living room window. I do like the "gutterflowers" AKA dandelions growing in the gutter.
