Thursday Kitteh Blog (late 09/03/2009)

Oops! I took pictures this morning, and then got lost in my day and didn't post them. Tragically, I also didn't look at them until just now; they're not terribly impressive. Some days are definitely better than others for photography. But I must persevere, since it's too late for me to take more pictures now, and it's dark so the cats are doing what it is that cats do in the dark (play and hide from me).

Anyway, here's Stash doing one of those things that she does really well. Sleeping on clean laundry.


And here's a blurry, mirror reflecting, sun-in-her-face Meredith walking all over the hand knit socks that were drying flat on the counter this morning.

To avoid this kind of thing happening again, I went out tonight and purchased some wire hangers (because all the hangers in the house were "good" ones) and bent them into hanging sock blockers that are great for drying. Ten hangers is drying space for 5 pairs of socks for about $5; an excellent price. The socks that did not get dry after lying flat all day are now hanging with air circulating all around them, and they should be dry by morning.
