So, not a whole lot to talk about this week. The lovely sock that I was working on last week now looks like this:
Just need to finish the toe and then make him a friend.
Lately, I've been thinking about a different project. It's a Sock Yarn Blanket. It's pretty awesome. I'm not going to post any pictures here, because I don't own any pictures of this, but you can find the pattern information on Ravelry by clicking here. This is definitely a long-term project. The kind of project that's both enormous and yet tiny (each square takes less than an hour) so you can work on it if you only have a little bit of time. To me it's the kind of project I want to pick up when I feel like knitting, but none of my other works in progress is calling me. I've done one exchange with a knitting friend who's making The Bee Keeper's Quilt which also uses sock yarn scraps. I have probably less than 25% of the yarn I'm going to need for this, so if you feel like donating unused scraps of sock yarn or want to do a swap, say so in the comments, and we'll see what we can work out.

I had never seen that link before, thanks for sharing. You're more than welcome to raid my stash, as I'm sure I've said before.
Excellent sock progress, Connie! It's really just too bad we keep planning our get-togethers during nap time. Guess we'll just have to knit.
