Today's look at Meredith and Stash.

Here they are sleeping all curled up together. It's very sweet even though shortly after I took this, Meredith decided that the place she really wanted to sit was my chair. But I picked her up and snuggled her, and obviously that's not a cool thing to do, so she went back to the soft spot with Stash to nap again.


Earlier this morning, Meredith was very intrigued by the plastic bag. I figured out that the intrigue was because she had somehow managed to put one of her toys in there, and she wanted it back. She did not, I repeat did NOT, stick her head all the way in the plastic bag. I was watching.

And here's Stash, who kept closing her eyes today as if she wanted to be alone.

Or perhaps the book that was next to her was beneath her. I can't say as I blame her on that one. That particular is absolute shit, which is why it's in that part of the room. It's available on my bookshelf at Paperback Swap. I won't publicly name the author, but she's one of those who once was a member of ADWOFF, so I went along with that crowd and got a couple of her categories and forced myself to read all of one and part of another before I remembered that I don't read books I don't enjoy, especially if they're poorly written. That actually saves me a lot of time. (I have been known to read poorly-written books if the story is decent, but this author tells boring stories badly, so she's right out.)

I have been working on a non-sock knitting project while waiting for my next shipment from KnitPicks (dammit, get here already!), but it's not something that's going to photograph well on the needles. When I'm done, I'll show it off.
